Frank was an accomplished athlete and marathon runner and completed over 30 marathons in various states including Hawaii and Alaska.  His goal was to complete a marathon in all 50 states and he achieved this distinction in 25 states.  Frank was nationally ranked in the USA Track & Field H Division.  Below are links to running websites and running clubs to which Frank was a member:
